Baby Moon Jar Cherry Blossom And Polka Dot Painted

This sweet miniature version of a more traditional moon jar form was carefully hand thrown on the potters wheel. It has a fine trimmed foot and small opening. Its beautiful alone but is also suited for that tiny little bouquet and ready to be your bud vase. After trimming and firing I sand the bisque and wash it before hand illustrating it with cherry blossoms in bright underglazes and then glazed and fired again to 2232F in my home studio.
